Every year, the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies (FCCS) hosts Creative Days — a series of free workshops that students can attend to find out more about the Bachelor of Fine Arts as well as the faculty itself and program offerings. The workshops are free to attend for both students in the FCCS and other faculties. However, the workshops are mainly geared towards prospective students looking to find out more information about the offered programs and topics explored within them. All workshops are held in the Creative and Critical Studies building at UBC Okanagan.

The workshops include a multitude of different art forms and mediums including screenprinting, sculpture, improv, writing and more. They are led by a varied lineup of professors from the Visual Arts program. Although the workshops are free to attend, pre-registration is encouraged as there are a limited number of spots available for each workshop. Students can pre-register for the workshops by emailing the Visual Arts Coordinator Katherine Pickering at katherine.pickering@ubc.ca.
