Running from March until the end of April, the festival consists of a wide variety of events, talks, workshops, contests and receptions.

Every year, the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies collaborates with a number of organizations and venues throughout Kelowna to put on the Spring Festival. Running from March until the end of April, the festival consists of a wide variety of events, talks, workshops, contests and receptions. The Spring Festival covers a wide range of different art forms and practices. The events are hosted in collaboration with students, faculty members, guest artists and community members. The events include spoken word performances, film screenings, guest lectures and art exhibitions showcasing a variety of mediums such as sculpture, photography, painting and drawing.

The events will take place in buildings throughout UBC Okanagan’s campus and at various different participating venues in Kelowna. The venues participating in the Spring Festival include the Okanagan Regional Library, BlackBox Theatre (Kelowna Community Theatre), Okanagan Co-Lab and the Innovation Centre Theatre.

Highlights of the Spring Festival include the Okanagan Short Story Contest Winner Announcement, a Piano Concert by Leopoldo Erice, Pony Cabaret and the Okanagan Student Film Festival.
